20 Western NC outdoor industry businesses, groups divide $125,000 in grants

The “MADE X MTNS” partnership has awarded $1250,000 in grants to be divided among 20 businesses and a variety of groups who are focused on the outdoor industry. Here are the recipients as well as an explanation about who and what is MADE X MTNS.

Since its launch in 2015, ScaleUp WNC has served 9 cohorts comprising 125 WNC companies. The program has benefited a diverse group of participants as two-thirds have been rural-based, women-owned, minority-owned, and/or veteran-owned businesses. A new cohort launches in March.
