Health insurance giant Centene Corporation announced today that it will invest $1 billion to bring its east coast regional headquarters to Charlotte, adding 6,000 jobs to the region in the coming years.
“This is record-breaking news,” Gov. Roy Cooper said in a press conference this morning to formally disclose the jobs announcement.
