Many Triangle area startups are hiring – here’s what job boards are showing

RALEIGH – Even though the latest WRAL TechWire Jobs Report shows that Triangle job postings may again be on the rise in the new year, the same can not be said for the startup economy in the Triangle. But candidates can still find work.

But beware – in the entrepreneurial sector, the trend of slowing hiring continues for the sixth consecutive week continuing the trend observed last week.

That’s especially the case for jobs in startup roles posted on the LinkedIn platform, with more than 38% decrease compared to last month.

The data show that there are now just 16,804 startup job postings based in the Triangle’s entrepreneurial economy, though there may be overlapping postings across the 15 job boards tracked by WRAL TechWire.
