RALEIGH – Layoffs are hitting the Triad again, this time at two companies with more than 300 workers to lose their jobs.

Four firms have now disclosed layoffs in the Triad since late January.

Keolis Transit America says in a layoff notice that it will cut 222 jobs “on or about” June 30, saying it is making the move after the “termination” of a contract with the Greensboro Transit Authority.

In High Point, Graphik Dimensions is cutting a total of 115 workers spread across two locations. The first layoffs will occure by May 15 with more to follow by the end of the year, the company said in its layoff notice.

The firm is a manufacturer of fine art decor and is based in High Point. It cited no reasons for the “reduction in force” in the filing.
