More news and information for entrepreneurs to use in building and growing businesses is available from WRAL TechWire as we continue to make additions to our Triangle Startup Guide.
Also, be sure to check out our extensive calendar listings for January and February, plus our meetups list – all linked at the bottom of this post.
Every Monday, we’re sharing a digest of the changes and additions we make to the Triangle Startup Guide.
Here’s a summary of what we added last week:
- We made two new additions to the “inspiration/advice/more resources” section of the guide:
- We added a link to Inc.’s “Surge Cities” list, a guide to the 50 best cities for startups. Durham was recently named No. 3 on the 2020 list. Read the report to find out why Durham has one of the highest rates of entrepreneurship per capita in the U.S.
- We also included a listing for Research Triangle Park’s newly released 2019 Community Impact Report, which provides a look into the continued growth of the RTP ecosystem. It includes an overview of RTP’s newest infrastructure projects, partnerships and initiatives, and a list of some of the companies that have expanded or relocated to RTP.
- We also added the Carolina Small Business Development Fund to the “accelerators/mentorship/training programs” section. The Carolina Small Business Development Fund offers one-on-one business development coaching, training, education, loans and financial assistance for startups and existing small businesses across North Carolina.
Is there something you think the guide is missing? Feel free to send me an email or tweet me (@ShannonCuthrell) your suggestions and feedback.
