GREENSBORO – Dynamic Quest and Carolina Networks, both of which are based in Greensboro, are combining forces.

Dynamic Quest, a provider of information technology and cloud services, says it is acquiring Carolina Networks, which provides disaster recovery and hosting services.

The deal was announced Monday. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Dynamic Quest, which also has an office in Cary and Winston-Salem, is backed by New York-based private equity firm Squire Capital. It launched in 2000.

“We are extremely excited about this new merging of Carolina Networks into our Dynamic Quest family.,” said Dynamic Quest CEO Javier Gomez in the announcement. “Carolina Networks has grown over the years to have a very solid client base and an even stronger reputation of being a customer focused and dependable team to support IT needs.  We are very fortunate to have the Carolina Networks’ team join our growing family.”

Susan Parrish, president of CNI, will serve as client engagement manager for the combined firm.

“We are thrilled to be joining Dynamic Quest,” Parrish said in a statement. “We have always had a lot of respect for Dynamic Quest and believe that our current customers will benefit from leveraging Dynamic Quest’s infrastructure, broader solution set and scale. We are looking forward to this next phase of growth together.”

Carolina Networks launched in 1995.
