GREENSBORO — IT and cloud services provider Dynamic Quest has acquired Enroute Networks for an undisclosed price to add expertise around voice-over-IP services and the hospitality industry.

The acquisition will expand Dynamic Quest’s footprint in Georgia and provide expertise around unified communications. Dynamic is currently a company in Spire Capital’s portfolio.

“The joining of our two organizations adds not only an additional team of solid technical resources but also a strong focus on UC solutions,” said Javier Gomez, chief executive officer of Dynamic, in a statement. “We are looking forward to this expansion”.

Dynamic sees the acquisition as an opportunity to cross sell its services to Enroute customers. Dynamic also hopes to leverage its current data center as well as sales and marketing initiatives to drive growth forward in Georgia.

Enroute believes the acquisition will allow it to expand its service offerings to its customer base by leveraging Dynamic’s infrastructure, size, and current business strategy.

“We are thrilled to be joining Dynamic Quest and positioning ourselves to better serve our current customers,” said David Hampson, chief executive officer of Enroute, in a statement. “Both our team and our customers are looking forward to the significant benefits we’ll soon be delivering.”

Hampson founded Enroute in 2001 with the mission to manage the IT needs and security challenges of small to medium sized businesses. In the company’s current operating model, two-thirds of its revenue is recurring.

Dynamic Quest was founded in 2000 to provide IT services to enterprises and mid-sized businesses. It currently offers cloud, disaster recovery, managed IT, service plans, application support, virtual CIO and security services.

Spire Capital partners with management teams to spur growth. It focuses on small market companies within the technology enabled business services, media, communications and education sectors.
