CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A lawsuit filed against PokerTek by a rival in the automated poker table has been voluntarily dismissed, PokerTek said Thursday.
Pokermatic had filed the suit in Philadelphia.
According to The Associated Press, Pokermatic accused PokerTek of violating antitrust laws and engaging in unfair competition, civil conspiracy, trade slander and defamation.
Pokermatic had also sough a declaration that its table technology did not violate a patent held by PokerTek.
