​Tenax Therapeutics Inc., a pharmaceutical firm in the critical care market, announced Friday that its chief executive John Kelley has resigned from the company. Former Krispy Kreme exec raising $250,000 for Winston-Salem tech startup

A Winston-Salem-based tech startup backed by a former Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. executive filed Friday to raise $250,000 in equity, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing. Steve Lineberger, who served as president of Krispy Kreme’s U.S. franchise operations until 2013, signed a Form D filed by SneeZ LLC on Jan. 13 alongside Charles Johnson of Charlotte, William Satterwhite of Winston-Salem and Steve Hodges, also of Winston-Salem.
