WILSON – FedEx has selected Wilson for a new distribution center that likely will create some 200 jobs, according to the Triangle Business Journal.
Evan Hoopfer reported Monday afternoon that the facility will be located near the intersection of the future Interstate 587 and N.C. Highway 58.
“The site was chosen because of its ease of access to major highways, proximity to customers’ distribution centers and a strong local community workforce for recruiting employees,” a FedEx spokesperson told the newspaper.
