RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – WRAL TechWire’s Top 50 is a barometer of what’s happening in the Triangle tech sector. This week, 49 of the “Top 50” companies are hiring.

These five companies have the highest number of postings, with one company adding a surge of posting since last week.

  1. Fidelity Investments, with 178 total postings, +6 net compared to last week.
  2. First Citizens, with 172 total, -14 net compared to last week.
  3. IBM with 101 total, +81 net compared to last week.
  4. Wolfspeed, with 101 total, -3 net compared to last week
  5. Novo Nordisk, with 83 total, -6 net compared to last week

IBM added the most postings this week, showing over 100 postings for the first time since WRAL TechWire began tracking the company’s postings this summer.

The only “Top 50” company not showing openings this week is Grover Gaming, the Greenville-based gaming firm with six total openings for US jobs but none currently in North Carolina.

The Top 50 showed 1,655 total postings, a dip of 0.9% from last week and down 1.4% compared to last month.
