RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Plenty of technology and life science events and program deadlines are coming up across North Carolina in December. Several events will be held in person or in a hybrid format, while many others remain virtual.

Building on WRAL TechWire’s ongoing work tracking essential events and deadlines across North Carolina, here’s a look at what’s to come in December 2023:

Tech Slam ‘N Eggs

This hybrid event will feature three to four software developers presenting their tech stacks, their insights and any challenges they overcame. This month’s event will take place live in Concord, with virtual sessions at Flywheel Coworking’s Winston-Salem and Greenville locations.

The Raleigh Chamber Foundation, the City of Raleigh and Capitol B Creative are hosting a new event series for small businesses along the New Bern Avenue bus rapid transit route. This series will provide relevant information and resources to help businesses be successful with the new transit experience.

Application Deadline: RIoT Accelerator Program in Wilson

RIoT seeks applications for its 17th cohort of the RIoT Accelerator Program (RAP) in Wilson next year. The program will be held online and in person at the Gig East Exchange.

Application Deadline: RevTech Labs Accelerator

Dec. 18

Applications are open for the upcoming cohort of the RevTech Labs Accelerator, based in Charlotte. The hybrid, 12-week program targets post-revenue fintech or insurtech startups based in the U.S. or Canada.
