“TDM’s leadership in building employee experience solutions has been powered by a world-class focus on client success as the innovative organizations we have the honor to work with drive real-world culture change,” said Jamie Ousterout, Chief Experience Officer at The Diversity Movement. “In today’s marketplace, organizational excellence is a key differentiator. In this new role, I will focus my process and operational expertise to create employee-first workplaces for both our clients and internally.”

Ousterout’s new role as Chief Experience Officer (CXO, a first at TDM) entails close collaboration with Donald Thompson, Co-founder and CEO, to continue building processes that lead to operational excellence. Studies have shown that customer experience is a powerful tool to drive organizational marketing and has transformative impact for internal teams. Ousterout’s expertise in business processes and operations will enable TDM to scale growth, apply its customer excellence model to its own company culture, and continue to ensure client and partner success via product growth.

“The Diversity Movement is dedicated to creating great experiences for its clients and employees,” said Donald Thompson, CEO and Co-founder of The Diversity Movement. “Jamie Ousterout’s promotion to Chief Experience Officer will align the company’s goals and objectives with strategic planning, key performance indicators, and organizational anchors to gain greater efficiency and operational excellence. She will also focus on internal communications and people operations to continue cultivating and scaling TDM’s high-performing team.”

Ousterout’s leadership has enabled TDM to build a national and international roster of clients and partners dedicated to creating culture-centric leaders and organizations. As CXO, she will continue to lead and supervise the Client Success team, while also bringing her operational expertise to ensure efficiency and scalability across Product Innovation, Marketing, Analytics, and Partnerships.

An in-demand speaker, Ousterout will continue to drive culture transformation for TDM’s clients and internally as a thought leader at live and virtual events, webinars, and podcasts. Her articles have been published at WRAL TechWire and TDM Library, as well as across a broad range of TDM publications, including guidebooks and white papers.

Thompson, recently named EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2023 Southeast Award winner, is building on TDM’s strength as a women-led organization. Ousterout is the third woman leader promoted in the last year, joining Chief Financial Officer Kristie Davis and Chief Revenue Officer Shelley Willingham. Under his leadership, TDM has earned numerous accolades, including the Inc. Best in Business List in DE&I Advocacy and its MicroVideos micro-learning library being named a Fast Company “world-changing idea.”
