CHARLOTTE – Technology conglomerate Honeywell has settled cases involving Foreign Corrupt Practice Act complaints and will pay more than $200 million in penalties and other fees.

Honeywell, which is based in Charlotte, announced the settlement on Monday.

The cases involved the US Securities and Exchange Commission and the government of Brazil.
