DURHAM – CreeLED, formerly part of Wolfspeed and now part of SGH, has reached a patent settlement with New York-based Star Headlight & Lantern.
The settlement is “mutually beneficial,” CreeLED said in a brief statement.
“As part of the settlement, Cree LED granted Star a limited license to certain Cree LED patents covering LED components,” CreeLED said.
No other terms were disclosed.
CreeLED is based in Durham.
