RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – According to a recent securities filing and business registration documents filed with the state of North Carolina, the Triangle-based entrepreneur Kashif Mazhar has launched a new company, backed by $6 million in equity from two investors.

The new company, excelENT, was registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State’s Business Registration Office on October 14, 2022.  On the registration, Mazhar is listed as the firm’s registered agent, with the company’s location at the Alexander Business Suites in Research Triangle Park.

And a securities filing from Monday indicates that the company has raised $6 million from two investors, with the date of the first sale of equity as September 30, 2022.

Jamie Stiles is also listed on the securities filing as a director of the company.

Mazhar did not respond immediately to a request for comment from WRAL TechWire.  A LinkedIn profile states that Mazhar is also the founder of the Triangle Sinus Center and the president and founder of Neosinus Health.

Last week, Triangle startup Allstacks raised $12.3 million in its Series A fundraise.
