RALEIGH – Medtech services firm Veranexlaunched a year ago – continues to be on a binge of acquisitions to expand its information technology services portfolio as well as its physical footprint.

Today the company – backed by global investment firm Summit Partners – announced the acquisition of several medical device consultancy firms in Sweden. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.

Veranex recently acquired Medidee, which is based in Switzerland.

The newly acquired firms include:

Other backers of Veranex include Accelmed and Lauxera Capital Partners.

Veranex made six acquisitions in its first full year of operations.
