WINSTON-SALEM – Wellnecity Group, Inc., a Winston-Salem-based provider of software for enterprises to optimally manage employee health care plans, has raised more than $3.1 million from 37 investors, according to an SEC filing.

The company previously raised $1.3 million in 2019, but continued fundraising, later filing an amended disclosure document with the SEC in 2020 that the company had raised a total of $2,206,332.

The company’s website states that it provides proprietary software that uses artificial intelligence.  According to the website, the company provides its clients connectivity and integration with current providers and vendors and structured data ready for analysis.  Other benefits the company describes on its website include streamlining payments to minimize wasted resources, enhanced financial controls, and assistance on internal communication.

The company, founded in 2018 by John Quinn and Marie Quinn, has four job openings listed on its website.
