RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Demand for talent is hot in the Triangle region, especially in industries like banking and financial services, biotech and life science, health care and higher education. From multinational corporations to seed-stage startups to nonprofits, today’s Jobs Report shows thousands of openings across the area.

Though demand remains strong, the pace of hiring has been fluctuating in recent weeks. Every Sunday, TechWire tracks the total number of Triangle-area jobs on national job boards. Our latest count shows modest growth on some sites, such as Indeed, Glassdoor and LinkedIn, which each have hundreds of additional openings compared to the previous week’s count.

However, other sites reveal declines. Adzuna has about 2,620 fewer jobs in Wake County, Durham County and Raleigh than it did a week ago. Dice, which tracks tech-specific jobs, shows 1,249 fewer jobs in Chapel Hill, 346 fewer in Raleigh and 341 fewer in Durham, compared to this time last week. ZipRecruiter also displays about 1,448 fewer jobs in Durham.

WRAL TechWire’s weekly Jobs Report compiles the latest information from the region’s top job boards, offering a breakdown of how many jobs are posted, which companies are hiring and for what positions. We’ve also included upcoming job fairs, student-centric resources and a list of Twitter accounts that track local job openings.

Hey, job seekers, here’s where the most open positions are in Triangle

Here’s what’s new since last week’s Jobs Report.
