CHARLOTTE  The Entrepreneurs’ Organization of Charlotte (EO Charlotte) has appointed new board members and elected a new president, Andrew Jones, the owner of Jones Gregg Financial, for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.

“We are thrilled to have this level of talent from among Charlotte’s entrepreneurial community join our leadership team,” said Jones in a statement. “We are among the largest chapters in the fastest growing region of EO Global, which is testament to the growing innovation in the Queen City.”

 

EO Charlotte has 103 members, according to an online fact sheet.  EO Raleigh Durham has 57 members according to an online fact sheet.

Bryan Delaney, the co-founder of Skookum, which was later acquired, will remain the president of the EO Accelerator, a quarterly program that aims to help entrepreneurs boost their revenues to above $1 million annually.

On a recent list of the best U.S. cities to start a business, Charlotte ranked sixth.

“While the past year was challenging, the support we were able to give our members resulted in 100% business continuity among our members,” said outgoing EO Charlotte president Reinhard von Hennigs in a statement. “We are entering this new year with renewed optimism, and excited about the local and global opportunities we have planned for our members.”
