More news and information for entrepreneurs to use in building and growing businesses is available from WRAL TechWire as we continue to make additions to our Triangle Startup Guide.

Also, be sure to check out our extensive calendar listings for October and November, plus our meetups list – all linked at the bottom of this post.

Every Monday, we’re sharing a digest of the changes and additions we make to the Triangle Startup Guide.

Last week, we added two new listings to the communities/networks/memberships section of the guide:

  • Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce, which is made up of 1,000 members, including large and small businesses, individuals and entrepreneurs, and government and nonprofit organizations. It provides programs and events, communication and marketing, advocacy and member-to-member deals for local businesses.
  • Cary Chamber of Commerce, which aims to advocate for and support the growth of startups and small businesses in the Town of Cary. The organization provides advertising and marketing to help member businesses gain new contacts. It also hosts regular luncheons, seminars and networking events, as well as meetings on governmental relations, economic development and education.

We also added Startup Summit NC to our list of local events and meetups. The program first launched in 2018 and holds regular meetups in addition to its flagship annual conference. Though it started in the Triangle, Startup Summit is quickly expanding to Charlotte and up the east coast to New York.

Is there something you think the guide is missing? Feel free to send me an email or tweet me (@ShannonCuthrell) your suggestions and feedback.

If you’re interested in keeping up with the latest local events, check out our two-part list of November events in the Triangle and in other regions across North Carolina.

Each week we also break out events coming up “on the horizon” a month out – such as our December calendar listings.

We’ve also put together a list of over 100 Triangle meetups.

These columns accompany our interactive calendar, which is updated every few days with new events held across North Carolina.
