More news and information for entrepreneurs to use in building and growing businesses is available from WRAL TechWire as we continue to make additions to our Triangle Startup Guide. Be sure to check out our extensive calendar listings for October and November, plus our meetups list – all linked at the bottom of this post.
Every Monday, we’re sharing a digest of the changes and additions we make to the Triangle Startup Guide. Here’s what we did last week:
- We added Durham Technical Community College’s Small Business Center to the communities/support networks section of the guide. The center supports both for-profit and non-profit startups and entrepreneurs by supplying helpful information and tools covering business planning, marketing, legal, accounting, financial management and more areas of business development.
- We updated the VC/angel groups page to include Jurassic Capital, a newly launched private equity firm created out of Colopy Ventures. The firm is focused on acquiring and investing in Southeast-based B2B SaaS startups with annual recurring revenue of $1 million to $5 million.
- We also added another listing to the inspiration/advice/more resources section: The Winning Combo Podcast, a local production from Triangle-based marketing expert Keith Washo of KDW Consulting and Startup Summit, alongside co-host Vijay Damojipurapu of San Francisco-based Vimana. The podcast features favorite quotes, business lessons and sales/marketing best practices.
Is there something you think the guide is missing? Feel free to send me an email or tweet me (@ShannonCuthrell) your suggestions and feedback.
