More news and information for entrepreneurs to use in building and growing businesses is available from TechWire as we continue to make additions to our Triangle Startup Guide. And be sure to check out our extensive calendar listings for October and November, plus our Meetups list.

Every Monday, we’re sharing a digest of the changes and additions we make to the Triangle Startup Guide.

Here’s what we did last week:

We added Women in Bio RTP to our list of communities and networks to join. Women in Bio is a membership organization made up of professionals who are committed to promoting careers, leadership and entrepreneurship of women in the life sciences sector. The national organization has a RTP chapter that meets regularly throughout the Triangle.

We also added two new listings to our map of incubators and coworking spaces:

  • Transfer Co. Work Hall, a new space that opened recently as part of downtown Raleigh’s Transfer Co. Food Hall. The Work Hall offers over 50 desks and coworking at various membership levels. Members also get to take advantage of amenities like on-site notary services, lockers, food vendor discounts, access to meeting rooms and a mailing address.
  • Provident 1898, a coworking hub and studio space made up of a diverse community of entrepreneurs and artists who are dedicated to cross-cultural innovation and collaboration. The space is located in downtown Durham’s NC Mutual Life Insurance Company building, a cornerstone of the city’s historic Black Wall Street on Parrish Street.
