More news and information for entrepreneurs to use in building and growing businesses is available from TechWire as we continue to make additions to our Triangle Startup Guide. And be sure to check out our extensive calendar listings for October and November, plus our Meetups list.
Every Monday, we’re sharing a digest of the changes and additions we make to the Triangle Startup Guide.
Here’s what we did last week:
- We added Work Veterans in Residence to our list of mentorship programs. Presented in partnership with Bunker Labs, WeWork Veterans in Residence provides space, services, mentorship and community resources to help veteran entrepreneurs build and grow their business. The national program is expanding to Raleigh soon with an official kick-off party on November 7.
- We also made a new addition to our VC investors section: River Cities Capital Funds, which invests in growth-stage startups with healthcare and IT products. Though it’s headquartered in Cincinnati, River Cities has a big presence in the Triangle, with an office in Raleigh and numerous local startups on its portfolio.
- We added NCBiotech’s guide to market research to the inspiration/advice/resources section.
Is there something you think the guide is missing? Feel free to send me an email or tweet me (@ShannonCuthrell) your suggestions and feedback.
