More news and information for entrepreneurs to use in building and growing businesses is available from TechWire as we continue to make additions to our Triangle Startup Guide.

Every Monday, we’re sharing a digest of the changes and additions we make to the guide.

Here’s what we added last week:

  • After xElle Ventures launched in Durham last week, we listed them on the VC/angel groups section of the guide. The group has 15 founding members and a growing list of potential future members. xElle provides mentoring, marketing and loan financing to its portfolio companies.
  • We also added REX Health Ventures to the VC/angel groups page. REX Health Ventures targets early-stage to mid-stage companies developing healthcare services, healthcare IT, medical devices and biopharma technology. The fund’s portfolio includes several high-growth companies based in the RTP area.
  • We listed Vibe Cary on our map of incubators and coworking spaces. Located in Cary Towne Center Mall, Vibe is a retail and coworking space that serves as a hub for women entrepreneurs, small business owners, makers and artists. The space is complete with a communal workspace, private offices, meeting rooms, storage space and a product display area.
  • We also listed the NC Department of Commerce’s website on our inspiration/advice/more resources page. The department’s website contains helpful resources for businesses and nonprofits, including a list of state grants and incentives, site search data, economic development reports, labor market analysis and more.

We want to continue encouraging readers to share suggestions and feedback to help us make the guide better. Is there something you think we’re missing? Feel free to send me an email or tweet me (@ShannonCuthrell) your suggestions.
