More news and information for entrepreneurs to use in building and growing businesses is available from TechWire as we continue to make additions to our Triangle Startup Guide.
Every Monday, we’re sharing a digest of the changes and additions we make to the guide.
Here’s what we added last week:
- We listed the AgTech Accelerator on the accelerators/mentorship programs section of the guide. The RTP-based program first launched in 2016 and targets
- We also added RTP-based EntreDot to the accelerators/mentorships page. The organization provides mentorship and advising services for both new and established companies, as well as nonprofits.
- EntreDot has also developed a comprehensive collection of vlogs offering step-by-step advice to entrepreneurs. We included a link to the playlist in the inspiration/advice/more resources section.
- We listed Durham-based Colopy Ventures on the VC/angel groups page. The seed-stage investor primarily focuses on startups that are building SaaS and cloud platforms.
- We added a new listing to our events/meetups page: Downtown Techies, a monthly meetup that convenes technology professionals who live and work in downtown Raleigh and Durham. The group is hosting two happy hour events next month: September 3 in Raleigh and September 10 in Durham.
- We also included Gig East Exchange on our map of incubators and coworking spaces. Set to open early-2020 in Wilson, the space brings together entrepreneurs, businesses and remote workers to collaborate in a central hub for innovation. It will also be home to the eastern North Carolina branch of the RIoT Accelerator Program.
We want to continue encouraging readers to share suggestions and feedback to help us make the guide better. Is there something you think we’re missing? Feel free to send me an email or tweet me (@ShannonCuthrell) your suggestions.
