RALEIGH – Software developers and workers with Java skills are the most in demand across North Carolina, according to the latest jobs report from the NC Technology Association.

While demand overall has declined for three straight months, there are plenty of openings in multiple categories.

Here’s a breakdown:

  3. Computer Systems Analysts: 2,543, +11.6%

  5. Information Technology Project Managers: 2,753, +32.0%
  6. Computer Systems Engineers/Architects: 2,061, +18.6%
  7. Information Security Analysts: 1,943, +7.9%
  8. Computer + Information Systems Managers: 1,707, +46.9%
  9. Web Developers: 1,527, +9.3%
  10. Software Quality Assurance Engineers: 1,127, +27.3%
