Want to change wireless provider but keep old phone? Spectrum Mobile offers a way

MORRISVILLE – Spectrum Mobile is offering wireless customers a new program that allows them to switch to its network while keeping their existing phones.

The Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program was expanded on Thursday. Customers can switch by taking their phones to a Spectrum Mobile store or at the SpectrumMobile.com website or calling 1-855-892-2072.

However, Spectrum Mobile service is only available to Spectrum Internet customers.

Spectrum Wireless customers also have access to Spectrum’s WiFi network, which when used does not add to data usage.

Unlimited data service plan is $45 a month. There also is a “By the Gig” plan at $14 per gig. No long-term contract is required.
