CHARLOTTE — AvidXchange, a fintech software provider, expanded its executive team by naming four new executives.

[The fintech firm, which is valued at more than $1 billion and therefore is considered a unicorn, is privately held.]

The new appoinments include two chief officers — Angelic Gibson as chief information officer and Don Finucane as chief product officer — and two new senior executive members: Mike Travis has become senior vice president of sales and Jessica Antle signed on as senior director of marketing communications.

The fintech software company said these new additions are part of an ongoing expansion at the AvidXchange headquarters in Charlotte.

AvidXchange is focused on providing accounts payable and payment automation solutions for midsize companies.

The new leaders will work together to continue advancing the company’s focus.
