RALEIGH– K4Connect, a Raleigh-based company that creates technology solutions to help older adults and individuals with disabilities, has updated its offering.

The company’s K4Community system built on its K4LifePlatform, brings together all the aspects of a senior living community, menus, event calendars, smart home automation, community management and analytics in an application that can be accessed on mobile devices or desktop computers.

In its third major release for 2018, new enhancements include:

Users can now create and publish in a single application without switching between various tools to create community assets such as calendars, flyers, or menus. Senior living staff can create, print, and digitally share community content using a single solution across multiple systems, digital signage, web, print, and TV.

It also now allows senior living teams to automate the morning check in process, augmenting a timely, error prone, and manual process while providing increased independence for older adults in senior living communities.

Building on K4Community’s fitness and sleep tracking solutions, Version 2.1 expands the connected wellness capabilities to include smart blood pressure cuffs and smart scales.

F. Scott Moody, co-Founder, CEO of K4Connect said in a statement, “The recent advancements of K4Community will not only empower older adults to live more independent and healthier lives, but will enable senior living communities to provide state-of-the-art care to their residents while lowering costs.”
