The Wed Clique, also known as Otterplan, is raising $500,000 as it expands a service that aims to help wedding venues attract more business.
Wed Clique, founded by Rachael Classi and Lisa Ganderson, was among the participating companies in the CED Tech Venture Conference in Raleigh last month.
“Where top wedding professionals book more business” is how they tout their service.
Crunchbase defines Wed Clique as “a b2b e-commerce platform for event venues to offer curated vendor packages to clients.”
Says Wed Clique:
“The Wed Clique enables brides to visually shop for their dream wedding.
“We turn your styled shoots into bookable experiences by partnering with venues to showcase your work directly to brides.”
According to a securities filing, Wed Clique has raised $195,000 of the $500,000 target, The fundraiser began last December.
The company launched in July 2016.
