In multiple markets across North Carolina and Tennessee, Chapel Hill-headquartered Takeout Central delivers local restaurant meals to customers who order from a menu that’s tailored to their own dietary needs and preferences. The on-demand delivery startup aims to emerge as a leader in its industry, and is hiring its first full-time engineer to help achieve that goal. The position involves working with the company’s founders on software initiatives to keep the service ahead of competitors and turn hundreds of thousands of customers into millions. Apply here.

Map My Customers

Since its formation in 2015, Map My Customers has built and launched its digital sales automation tool and acquired more than 15,000 users in the sales, services and wholesale fields. The app helps these teams discover smart travel routes and generate strong leads as they target customer groups. The startup, based in Cary, recently raised $275,000 and is seeking new hires in sales, design and software engineering. Listings here.

Dor Technologies

San Francisco-founded Dor has a customer traffic analytics solution that retailers can easily install in stores to calculate conversion rates and marketing effectiveness, as well as optimize staffing. Earlier this month, the company closed a $3.8 million round to help continue its 100 percent month-to-month growth since its founding two years ago. Dor expanded to Durham earlier this year and is hiring a B2B sales representative, a director of marketing and a marketing associate. Listings here.

Smashing Boxes

This Durham creative digital agency is still growing fast after opening a branch in New Orleans in 2016. Smashing Boxes, which is listed on Triangle Business Journal’s Fast 50 rapidly growing companies in the Triangle, is seeking an iOS developer to join the mobile team at its Durham headquarters to help build intuitive and visually appealing applications for Apple devices. Audio Advice

At its offices in Charlotte and Raleigh, Audio Advice is building and providing high-performance audio, home theater and home audio systems to customers in North and South Carolina. The startup is adding to its Raleigh team, to help build out an e-commerce platform for its suite of home audio products. PlotWatt

This Durham energy efficiency startup has a cloud-based web application that tracks and analyzes appliance usage by location. The data provides simple recommendations on ways for restaurants, retailers and others to reduce energy on a daily basis and, ultimately, save money on energy bills. PlotWatt is seeking a software engineer to build durable and reliable software, and take on tasks like streamlining data ingestion, measuring efficacy and engagement, and reaching users in a timely manner. Spoonflower

Through services that involve printing unique designs on fabric, wallpaper and gift wrap on-demand, this Durham company, which also has an office in Berlin, is pioneering the global field of digital textile printing. Spoonflower is adding to its team, with openings like controller, front-end developer, graphic designer and DevOps engineer. More here.

Strategic Insights 360

Founded in 2009 by an executive team member of JetBlue Airways and Backcountry.com, Strategic Insights 360 is driven by a mission to provide businesses with helpful insights that are loyal to data and all of its principles. The Durham startup now serves clients with retail and content/media websites in more than three continents. SI360 is looking for a senior front-end developer to help handle some dashboard visualization projects over the next few months. Interested applicants should contact SI360 here.

reCity Network

Since fall of last year, Durham’s reCity has grown to a thriving and popular coworking space for non and for-profit businesses focused on kids and social impact. As it continues to fulfill a mission to support local leaders and nonprofits serving the youth of Durham, reCity is seeking a marketing intern to help execute media, communications and public relations campaigns to support the company’s branding and strategic initiatives. Offline Media

After landing $700,000 from a group of Triangle investors to bring its event-discovery app to new cities last year, Raleigh-based Offline Media is delivering on its potential in 2017 with a strategic and financial partnership with nationwide newspaper owner McClatchy to boost sales, audience and innovation efforts. TiO

Short for “Turn It On,” TiO is a fast-growing home automation startup in Raleigh making headway in its industry. Earlier this month, TiO landed $250,000 from Virginia-based investment firm The Launch Place to help expand its product to the Danville River region and further increase sales. Zift Solutions

This 2017 Triangle “Tweener” company works with clients like Red Hat, HP and Autodesk to coordinate marketing initiatives with channel partners and boost sales. As it grows, Zift Solutions is looking to add some new employees to its offices in Raleigh and Durham—a UX designer, a partner specialist and software engineers. Listings here.

410 Medical

Durham medical device startup 410 Medical builds technology to aid clinicians in resuscitating critically-ill patients. Its flagship product “LifeFlow” delivers fluids to patients with shock and sepsis who are in vital need of rapid, efficient and effective care. Earlier this year, the company announced plans to raise a $5 million series A round and launch its product internationally in 2018. This sales management software company, based in Durham, is growing sales of its Software-as-a-Service product that automatically generates qualified sales and marketing leads.
