Investors’ Circle

With a membership base of hundreds of venture capitalists, angels, foundations and family offices, this organization is committed to advancing early-stage companies with funding and networking opportunities. It has backed over 330 for-profit enterprises across multiple industries. As Investors’ Circle works to facilitate even more investments, it is looking to add an operations associate to its American Underground office in downtown Durham. Read more here.

This Raleigh startup provides educational tools and herbal supplements for people with Lyme disease and other illnesses affecting the immune system. With quadrupling revenue and a new B Corp certification, Vital Plan is making a significant impact on the $1 billion online supplement industry and in the lives of customers. To further its growth, the company is seeking a digital project manager to help execute its marketing initiatives and run its affiliate partner channel. Details here.

NExS 

Dr. Tom Miller, a North Carolina State University Engineering Entrepreneurship professor, has invented a new spreadsheet processing engine that re-implements Excel files into interactive web applications. Now that the prototype has been developed, Dr. Miller is looking for entrepreneurs in the software market to help lead commercialization of the invention, called Network Extensible Spreadsheet Software (or NExS). More information here.

Zift Solutions

Zift, which raised a large VC round last year, works with clients like Red Hat, HP and Autodesk to coordinate marketing initiatives with channel partners and boost sales. As it grows, the company is looking to add some new employees to its offices in Raleigh and Durham. K4Connect 

This Internet of Things startup packs the latest in smart technology into a single system to assist older adults and individuals living with disabilities. With growing revenue and an $8 million Series A investment from Intel Capital landed just last week, the company is seeking to hire new employees in engineering, operations, product management and finance. Apply here.  

inMotionNow

With $3.1 million in new funding, the Morrisville startup with software for creative production management needs to grow its team to ready it for faster growth. After winning Triangle Business Journal’s Best Places to Work award this year, inMotionNow is adding more employees to its sales, marketing and product development teams. Read more here.

Bright Wolf

This company has a case study-tested product that provides a highly secure and cloud-compatible data center for clients in the Internet of Things industry. Bright Wolf is looking to add several new employees to its team in downtown Durham. Applicants don’t necessarily need to fit into a mold to be considered, but Bright Wolf is seeking people with “strong drive, relentless curiosity, the desire to create their own path, the ability to work collaboratively and the passion and leadership to make an impact.” Information here.

Chapel Hill-based FinTech startup WalletFi offers a simple way to avoid ever missing recurring payments. Its mobile application lets users identify and transfer any recurring payments made on their credit cards and financial accounts. Apex Friendship High School

Here’s something that deviates from the job listings we usually post. The Young Entrepreneurship Education Team at Apex Friendship High School is looking to interview local business owners and entrepreneurs for a project aiming to promote and teach the benefits of entrepreneurship. The 15-20-minute interviews will be part of the education team’s presentation to various middle schools in the Apex area. Apply here.

NCSU Centennial Campus Partnership Office

The university’s Department of Research, Innovation and Economic Development is responsible for facilitating partnerships with some of the state and nation’s corporate, governmental and nonprofit entities. These partners are free to collaborate with NCSU’s directory of researchers and resources for innovation and economic growth.
