The deadline is today for round two of Soar’s mentoring program for women building startup companies—up to eight women will be selected. The program has proven successful so far—Mati Energy won Google Demo Day in Silicon Valley earlier this month, raising $100,000 from celebrity venture capitalist Steve Case and numerous other funding offers. Personalized Learning Games rebranded, found a new CEO and won a chance to pitch Steve Case next week during the Rise of the Rest Tour. Funding is the next step in its mission to disseminate clinically tested games to help kids learn social and emotional skills.
