A week ago, Lenovo disclosed plans to target businesses for more sales.

Monday, Lenovo’s new Enterprise Product Group rolled out its first product, a server targeting small and medium size businesses as well as schools. It’s the ThinkServer TD330.

The server is intended to support virtual desktops and distributed enterprise networks as well as other information technology tasks.

“The ThinkServer TD330 meets the need of an organization that demands flawless dual socket performance in a flexible, scalable tower solution, and values the reliability and sturdiness that ThinkServer products are known for,” said Roy Guillen, who recently joined Lenovo as general manager of the new group.

“We’ve placed expanded emphasis on building our server portfolio this year, introducing products that meet the needs of all our customers – from enterprise customers to small businesses,” he added.

Lenovo operates its global executive headquarters in Morrisville.
