PowerSecure wins $12 million in orders for smart grid, utility projects

WAKE FOREST, N.C. – Growing demand for so-called “smart grid” solutions as well as emergency backup solutions means $12 million in new orders for (Nasdaq: POWR).

PowerSecure recently began offering its Interactive Distributed Generation system to help utilities implement smart grids for more efficient power system management. Customers are linked to a monitoring system operated by PowerSecure.
