Springboard Managed Hosting has signed a deal with ClickCom to provide the company with a dedicated cage that supports more than 100 servers.

The three-year deal with Charlotte-based ClickCom represents nearly $200,000 in revenue for Springboard, which has its headquarters in Cary and also has an operation in Charlotte.

ClickCom, which offers web site hosting, design, eCommerce, and co-location services, decided to move its core infrastructure to Springboard’s 12,000 square foot data center versus handling it internally, according to Gary McAuliffe, general manager of Springboard in Charlotte.

“It’s a win-win situation for both companies,” McAuliffe said. “This deal shows that even Web service firms are realizing that Springboard’s highly engineered data center provides a level of redundancy and local support that cannot be matched regionally.”
