EarthLink has struck a deal with Verizon, enabling the Internet Service provider to expand the reach of its high-speed network services.
“Our new agreement with Verizon is another step in our overall strategy to expand our national high-speed footprint,” said Garry Betty, EarthLink’s president and chief executive officer, in a statement.
EarthLink will offer its Digital Subscriber Line services over Verizon’s network.
The deal means EarthLink can offer DSL service to more than 6 million additional households starting later this year.
