The Council for Entrepreneurial Development’s annual Life Sciences Conference will take a look at the future of health care.
“Healthcare in 2020” is the theme for the conference in February and CED says the conference in February will explore “how the convergence of medicine, technology and regulation will impact North Carolina’s fastest-growing sector.”
The conference has lined up some heavy hitters as speakers including Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Margaret Hamburg. Also on the agenda are Michael Astrue, former Social Security Commissioner and interim CEO of Cambridge, Mass.-based spinal cord injury medical device developer InVivo Therapeutics and Clayton Christensen, Harvard Business School professor and the author of “The Innovator’s Dilemma.”
The conference, which is projected to draw more than 1,000 attendees, is scheduled for Feb. 26 and Feb. 27 at the Raleigh Convention Center. For more information or to register, go here.
