David has a close partnership with Maggie Kane and A Place at the Table. When I learned about a new challenge A Place at the Table was facing due to an increase in clients, need, and security concerns. David and I worked together to quickly propose funding to support A Place at the Table with full-time security. Together, we were able to send funding within a matter of days. One of the things I value about David and our work together is the shared recognition of needing to be flexible, adaptable, and reactive to the needs of our nonprofit partners. He puts our community needs first and I greatly value that in our team.
