RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Coming to Raleigh on Aug. 27, the latest competition in the Major League Gaming circuit will involve a new game: “League of Legends.”

League of Legends has been around for almost two years, with 15 million downloaders and an average of 1.5 million players per day.

The first LoL competition on the MLG circuit starts out in Raleigh with a chance for one of four teams to win a $20,000 prize. Thus far four teams have been invited to play in the LoL tournament: Epik Gaming, Curse Gaming, Team Solo Mid and Counter Logic Gaming.

You can watch these matches live here, but if you are able make sure and come down to the MLG event on Aug. 26-28 at the Raleigh Convention Center.
