You may recognize Bozoma Saint John from Apple’s 2016 developer conference. But soon, Saint John will be better known as the woman helping sell Uber’s brand to consumers. Uber fires 20 employees over sexual harassment probe

Uber is acting swiftly after an investigation substantiated many reports of sexual harassment at the company. Uber has fired 20 employees based on the investigation’s findings, a person with knowledge of the matter confirmed to CNN Tech. At a staff meeting on Tuesday, employees were notified that 215 harassment claims had been investigated. Amazon, Reddit, Etsy plan to protest for net neutrality

Top tech companies are joining a protest for the future of the Internet. Amazon, Etsy, Reddit and Kickstarter are part of a coalition of about 50 companies and advocacy groups that are planning an “Internet-wide day of action” to defend net neutrality. Uber-like carpooling is coming to NYC taxis

You could soon be paying significantly less for New York City yellow cabs. That is, if you opt to carpool. Two tech transit firms, Curb and Via, announced a new effort to roll out carpooling to cabs. While shared rides have long been an option through startups Lyft and Uber, traditional cabs haven’t had the infrastructure to offer it until now.
