RALEIGH – VinFast, which is expanding its operations into India and is looking for a plant there, has named a former Vietnamese diplomat to lead the efforts.
He is Pham Sanh Chau a former diplomat, educator, and politician who served as the Vietnamese ambassador for India, Nepal, and Bhutan between 2018 and 2022, according to The Financial Express.
VinFast plans a new plant in Indonesia as it continues to build its electric vehicle factory near Sanford in the U.S. I also is planning to expand its dealer network in the U.S.
