Plenty of technology and life science events and deadlines are on tap for July, and we suggest you pencil them into your calendar soon.

Application Deadline: Ice House Facilitator Training

July 1

NC IDEA’s three-day Ice House Facilitator Training, held August 6-8 in Wilson, aims to serve education partners interested in offering the course at their institutions. More details on the program here.

CEOCircle: Peer to Peer Learning for Established Businesses

Bunker Labs RDU’s CEOCircle helps local veteran small business owners and entrepreneurs to position their companies for future growth. This program is designed for businesses that are beyond the idea stage of development.

1 Million Cups CLT

July 3, 8:30-10 a.m.

Held every month, 1 Million Cups Charlotte features a presentation from a local startup followed by a Q&A from the community. Free coffee is included.

The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Makerspace Training, Collaboration and Hiring (MaTCH) Pilot Competition provides up to $1 million in total prizes to fund proposals aiming to expand job-specific skills training in existing makerspaces.
