Eon Labs will close its Wilson plant in 2024, eliminating 213 jobs.
The company filed notice this week with the state as required under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act. Companies are required to WARN to give notice of plant closings and mass layoffs.
Eon, located at 4700 Sandoz Drive in Wilson, made generic drugs.
