CHARLOTTE – Charlotte-based steelmaking giant Nucor Corp. placed the highest among North Carolina companies on Fortune magazine’s newly released ranking of the nation’s 100 fastest-growing companies for 2023, ranking at No. 14.
Mount Airy-based Insteel Industries ranked No. 59, Davidson’s Ingersoll Rand Inc. was No. 69, while Charlotte-based chemicals manufacturing company Albemarle Corp. debuted at No. 86.
