CHARLOTTE – Raleigh-based Cherry Bekaert, a 75-year-old assurance, tax and advisory firm, is making its fifth acquisition in 12 months with the purchase of Cordia Partners.
With the deal, Cherry Bekaert, a professional services firm backed by private equity, will grow to around 2,100 employees, making it the largest accounting firm in the Southeast, the firm says.
