RALEIGH, – On July 10, 2023, the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina’s (EDPNC) International Trade Division began its four-day road trip across the state to bring its export expertise directly to businesses and business owners looking to expand into international markets. The road trip’s fourth and final stop will be on Thursday, July 13, at Wake Technical Community College’s Western Wake Campus in Cary, North Carolina.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one throughout the day with Foreign Trade Representatives from the EDPNC’s six overseas offices to learn about opportunities in global markets such as Canada, Mexico, Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Representatives from the North Carolina Department of Agriculture, Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) and U.S. Commercial Service will also be available at each location. Through opening new foreign markets, businesses can increase revenue while supporting the state’s economy and more than 400,000 in-state jobs.

While individual meetings will be held throughout the day, there will be media availability during the day’s lunch period.
