DURHAM – Duke University Health System is going to  “right-size and realign the structure of some of its administrative and operational functions,” according to a statement “shared” with Becker’s Hospital CFO Report” on June 2.

“Positions will primarily be reduced through retirements, redeployments and closures of vacant positions, according to the health system,” Becker’s reported.

Of 280 jobs to be eliminated some “50 positions, all in administrative and managerial roles, are affected,” Becker’s added.
