RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Charlotte-based conglomerate Albemarle, which has been expanding its lithium mining efforts and recently landed a major deal with Ford to provide lithium for electric vehicle batteries, this week joined the Fortune 500 list.
Albemarle was named No. 493.
